With a hand full of drama, the Oscars truly made history. Lets take a look at moments we will never forget in the 2017 Oscar Award Ceremony.
1. This year the award for Best Original Screenplay was taken by Viola Davis. After which she gave an incredibly moving acceptance speech saying “I became an artist— and thank God I did—because we are the only profession that celebrates what it means to live a life.”

2. After a humiliating mix up of awards, Moonlight won the Best Picture awards after La La Land was announced as the winner. After the producers of La La Land, had already thanked their families and fellow artists, the realisation that the whole win was a mistake was well... awkward to say the least.
