"Ditch the Cinderella look for your wedding gown" - David Tlale

David Tlale was one of the top fashion designers who showcased their Spring/Summer collection at the recently concluded Mercedes-Benz Fashion week in Cape Town. His collection, he said, was a reinterpretation of what the modern bride could look like if they dared to be different. He says he intentionally ditched the traditional elements that are associated  with a Cinderella type look for something more daring and futuristic.
