Nonhle Goes To Hollywood

You may have noticed Nonhle’s fan, @TeamNonhle, on Twitter. Her real name is Michelle and she descibes herself as “Nonhle’s biggest and number one fan”. Judging by the frequency of her tweets and the letter below, we must say she’s the biggest Nonhle fan we’ve met so far! She even created the avatar that Nonhle is using on Twitter and Facebook.

Nonhle, this is a special message for you from Michelle who was so over-the-moon to have met you that she wrote this for you:

Dear Nonhle,

This is an open letter to you – it shares with you how you have inspired and motivated me. You are amazing!

I remember when I was younger I used to look at your ‘Dark & Lovely’ editorial advertisements and think ‘you are so pretty’ – the fact that the product colours were purple helped a bit, too! Ha, ha. I loved how you looked as if nothing could phase you. As if you KNEW that you were truly remarkable, but stayed grounded. (more…)
