“The Bang Bang Club”, the locally-filmed drama about the group of South African war photographers who went by that name, has been nominated for 7 Genie Awards – the Canadian equivalent of the Oscars.

La La Gets Hitched

For most people the least stressful way to have a wedding is to meticulously plan every single step of the way. From the flowers to the dress, the best way to get the most out of it is to make sure every detail is planned and organised to a tee.

In Hollywood, however, things work differently, and former MTV presenter, La La Vazquez proves this by making sure that every step of her sincere nuptials is documented for us to see – thanks La La.

Lucky in love (hopefully) the former VJ and friend to Kim Kardashian has been seeing her man, NBA star Carmelo Anthony for seven years and he’s finally decided to get hitched. The couple also share a 3-year-old son, and in this series La La will face some serious questions, most importantly, “Am I ready to be a wife?”.

La La is best buds with Kelly Rowland, Kim Kardashian and Tyrese. Expect them to be making some appearances in this show. Fiancé Anthony is one of the best players in the NBA and plies his trade for the New York Knicks, who play their home games in the world famous Madison Square Garden. Director Spike Lee is a big and long-suffering fan, and Jay-Z and other famous celebs are often seen in the crowd.

This is a given. As one of the five best players in the NBA, and playing for a team with considerable resources, Anthony is not a poor man. Our man Anthony is one of the best known players in the NBA and one of the five best players in the league, just behind LeBron James, Kobie Bryant, and Dwayne Wade. So expect tons of showing off and big competition on the extravagant front from Anthony.

Lots of air-miles:
Since La (as her friends call her) does not live in the same city as her man, you can expect lots of flying, between states, meaning a lot of grumpiness, and a lot of drama for her and her family, which we’re not complaining about.

A ton of fun:

With La La have some very famous friends, she is often lucky enough to be invited to the hippest events in town which we’ll be privy too. In one episode La La jets off to Vegas for the awesomeness.

With any wedding, there’s going to be drama, and La La takes us through the nitty gritty of planning a wedding step-by-step, episode by episode, so ladies take note. And with over 210 invitations sent out for the wedding La La certainly has her work cut out for her.

La managing the balancing act of planning a wedding, being a fiancé and being a great mom. In addition, La La must decide which parent will walk her down the aisle. Enough said!

A shocking, scandalous and downright sexy new celebrity show is heading for Vuzu this February.

10 Over 10 debuts on Wednesday 15 February at 19:30, and turns a scalding hot spotlight on local celebrity culture.

The 13-part series has been developed exclusively for Vuzu – covering everyone from musicians to TV and film stars, fashion designers and models, sport personalities and comedians, and many, many others who fall under the hugely popular celebrity catchall.

Each episode of 10 Over 10 will feature a countdown of the Top 10 celebrity stories. The scandals, the sexy sirens, the dirtiest love rats, the raunchiest sports stars, the bad boys and girls are all game – making it perfect viewing for celebrity-mad Vuzu viewers.

Adding to the impact will the input of a range of social commentators, whose witty, blunt, straight forward and downright funny comments and voiceovers will up the ante on 10 Over 10.

Whether it’s celebrity love lives or scandals, model catfights or the worst hair weaves, misbehaving sports stars or against-all-odds winners on the field, triumphant musicians back from rehab or cosmetic surgery addicted TV stars, 10 Over 10 puts it all in the spotlight.
